Licensing Options

ASP or Self-Hosted Solutions

SectorLynx is offered as a hosted Application Service Provider (ASP) solution where the hosting infrastructure is fully managed by TP Systems and users access the system via their Web browser. Alternatively, SectorLynx can be delivered as an in-house, self-hosted solution installed on your premises.

The choice of solution depends on performance requirements and scale of the desired solution. A self-hosted solution is usually selected by large organizations with an IT infrastructure in place and a high volume of case activity. An ASP solution is ideal in smaller settings, particularly where access to dedicated IT resources is difficult or cost-prohibitive.

Both the ASP and self-hosted solutions can be licensed either through a subscription or perpetual license.

Subscription License

A subscription is the most convenient licensing option. It’s a turn-key solution: there is no need to install SectorLynx software or maintain servers and other IT infrastructure at your site. TP Systems maintains your system for maximum operational efficiency. The normal length of a subscription license is three years, with an annual all-inclusive fee.

Perpetual License

For organizations seeking a wide deployment and expecting heavy usage, a perpetual license is a cost-effective option. With a perpetual license – sometimes described as an outright purchase – there are no additional fees in subsequent years other than for support and maintenance.

TP Systems can host SectorLynx on behalf of perpetual licensees or install SectorLynx on the client’s own servers. License fees are based on the method and scope of deployment.
